<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water supply equipment capable of achieving water conservation and capable of preventing the inside of horizontal piping from being clogged with soil. <P>SOLUTION: Water supply equipment supplies water to a water closet 10 that comprises a toilet bowl 12 and a water-closet drainage passage 13 communicating with the toilet bowl 12 and having a drain outlet 14 formed at a downstream end. The water supply equipment includes first water supply means W1 for supplying the water closet 10 with the water in quantity required for discharge of excrement in a water seal section H, which is formed of the toilet bowl 12 and the water-closet drainage passage 13, from the drain outlet 14, and second water supply means W2 for supplying the inside of horizontal piping 30 with the water in quantity smaller than the quantity of the water, which is supplied by the first water supply means W1, so that the water can be retained on the upstream side of soil X1 retained in the horizontal piping 30 communicating with the downstream side of the drain outlet 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
