<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft device that reliably prevents a shaft stored in a housing from falling out and has high flexibility of the design. <P>SOLUTION: A differential device includes: a differential case 40 formed with a storing hole 43; a pinion shaft 50 stored inside the storing hole 43; and a snap ring 70 assembled to an outer peripheral of the differential case 40 and disposed crossing over the storing hole 43. A fitting groove 54 extended in a direction is formed in an end surface of the pinion shaft 50. The snap ring 70 includes: a body 71 extended while encircling the differential case 40; and a bar-like protrusion 75 mounted to an inner peripheral surface of the body 71 and fitting to the fitting groove 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
