<p>[Objective] To provide a general-purpose workflow management system capable of accommodating various forms of operation. [Solution] In the present invention, the flow of work is subdivided into a plurality of processes and workflow is defined as the collection of the plurality of processes organically linked. In addition, this system is configured so that one process state is selected to express the status of progress of work in a process, and the process state transitions as a result of a privileged user executing a defined action according to the progress of the process. Furthermore, the system is configured so that, when defining an action for causing the process to transition, the action can be defined by the user freely combining a plurality of action elements. With this configuration, it is possible for the user to freely define transitions between states and coordination between processes without modifying the system.</p> |
