<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for retaining an elevator main cable capable of further accurately detecting an original load in a car regardless of the elevation position of the car. <P>SOLUTION: This device 210 for retaining an elevator main cable includes: a plurality of sockets 206 each tiltably and vertically movably arranged and supporting a corresponding main cable; a load detection plate 211 driven following the vertical movement of the plurality of sockets; a load detection device 213 for detecting a load by transmitting drive operation of the load detection plate thereto; and a correction mechanism 250 for providing correction to the detection result by acting on a transmission route of the drive operation of the load detection plate based on the tilt conditions of the plurality of sockets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
