<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing member driving device by which, when an opening/closing member for opening/closing an opening of a vehicle body is driven by an electric mechanism, a space for the mechanism for driving the opening/closing member is made smaller. <P>SOLUTION: By a hinge 34 comprising a base member 20 attached to a vehicle body 16 and a rotary member 22 attached to a rear door 14, the rear door 14 is rotatably attached to the vehicle body 16, and an electric mechanism causes the rotary member 22 to be rotated to drive the rear door 14.
