<p>Disclosed is an electrode bar with an insulating coating, comprising a bar body portion and a bar tip portion positioned on the top of the bar body portion. On the tiptop of the bar tip portion is a bar tip top end. The periphery of the bar tip portion is disposed with a high temperature insulating coating, while the bar tip top end is not coated with a high temperature insulating coating such that the bar tip top end is in a state that allows for conduction. The electrode bar disclosed allows for repression of creepage discharge and for concentration of the energy of electric arc on the regular arc region in low barometric pressure situations. The change in the temperature of electric arc as a function of the barometric pressure is greatly reduced, and the electric arc is more stable.</p> |
