<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner carrier with low power consumption capable of stably forming a cloud of a toner for a long period of time and capable of developing an electrostatic latent image having been formed on a photoreceptor into a visible image by supplying a toner; a developing device including the toner carrier; an image forming apparatus including the developing device; and an image forming method using the toner carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A toner carrier to be used for hopping development in which a toner carried by a tonner carrier is allowed to hop by an electric field formed by a plurality of electrodes provided on the toner carrier for developing an electrostatic latent image having been formed on a photoreceptor opposing the toner carrier, comprises: a conductive or insulative support; an insulating layer formed on the support; a plurality of electrodes arranged at constant interval on the insulating layer; and a surface layer covering the plurality of electrodes, and the insulating layer includes at least one kind of polyimide resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
