<p>The gear has a drive pinion (1) and a rack gear (2) axially and slidably arranged in a steering gear housing. A thrust piece (4) is provided with a damping element. The damping element is designed as a cushioning ring (13) and inserted into a peripheral groove of the thrust piece made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic. The thrust piece is formed as a multi-component injection molded part such that the cushioning ring is sprayed in and/or on the thrust piece during spraying process. The cushioning ring is made of resilient plastic or silicone.</p> |
