PURPOSE: An apparatus for sealing a carbonization furnace is provided to block inflow of a large amount of pyrolytic products through the sealed part and to obtain carbon fibers of high quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sealing a carbonization furnace for producing carbon fibers is used for sealing an inlet and an outlet of the furnace and is formed to cover an outer circumference of a fiber guide. The apparatus comprises: first and second sealing chambers(130,140) which have an inlet side and an outlet side symmetrically formed each other and is used for supplying inactivated gas; and first and second labyrinth seals(200,300) which are formed inside the first and second sealing chambers.
