BEAM FOCUSING APPARATUS USING NANO BLOCK

PURPOSE: A beam focusing apparatus is provided to focus beam by including a dielectric layer and a plurality of nano-block layers in which a plurality of nano-blocks is laminated within the dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION: A beam focusing apparatus comprises a dielectric layer(10) and a plurality of nano blocking layers. A plurality of nano-blocks(12a, 12b, 14a, 14b, 16a, 16b) is laminated within the dielectric layer. The plurality of nano blocking layers comprises two nano-blocks. The two nano-blocks are separately arranged. The interval between the two nano-blocks is 0-2micrometers inclusive. Surface Plasmon polariton is created at the interface of the dielectric layer and the plurality of nano-blocks. The beam focusing apparatus controls beam focusing length by changing the interval of the plurality of nano-blocks.
