<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a partition of reverse tapered form in which a second electrode can be formed continuously across a plurality of organic EL elements. <P>SOLUTION: The display device comprises a support substrate, a plurality of organic EL elements provided on the support substrate, and partitions provided to surround the outer periphery of each organic EL element in plan view. In plan view, the partition has a first partition provided to face a part of the outer periphery of the organic EL element, and a second partition provided to face the remaining part of the outer periphery of the organic EL element excepting the part mentioned above. The first partition has a tapered form where the side surface and the bottom face make an acute angle, and the second partition has a reverse tapered form where the side surface and the bottom face make an obtuse angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
