<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for supporting the composition design capable of easily designing the component series which is the combination of a plurality of slab components which can be casted in the same production lot. <P>SOLUTION: The slab forms a node, and a network is constructed by setting a link between the nodes on the basis of the component series being the combination of a plurality of slab components to be cast in the same production lot and the casting size of the slab.
