PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate selection of application to be linked.

SOLUTION: A first application identifier and a second application identifier are received. A type of output data of the first application and a type of input data of the second application are specified based on an application database that stores an application identifier for identifying an application, a type of input data of the application and a type of output data of the application in association with each other. A candidate for an application to be linked with the first application and the second application is extracted based on the specified types of output data and input data and the stored contents of the application database.
