MOLTEN SLAG ATOMIZATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for atomizing molten slag is provided to prevent the generation of agglomerated slag on a surface of a rotary disc because the amount of heat delivered to the rotary disc is minimized. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for atomizing molten slag comprises a chamber(10) and a rotary disc(30). High temperature molten slag is putted into the chamber. The rotary disc is rotatably installed inside the chamber. The rotary disc forms molten slag droplets by centrifugal force at the edge. The rotary disc comprises first and second disc members(41,51). The first disc member is made of steel materials. The second disc member is made of ceramic materials, and connected to the upper surface of the first disc member.
