PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation efficiency of a photoelectric conversion device by restraining exfoliation of a porous layer of electron transport body made of titanium oxide or the like formed on a conductive glass substrate or a conductive plastic substrate, and warp of the substrate.
SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device 1 is composed of a translucent substrate 10 serving as a conductive substrate functioning as an electrode at one side; a first conductive layer 11; the layer of electron transport body 12 as a porous semiconductor layer on the main surface of which many dyestuffs 13 as exciting bodies performing photoelectric conversion are adhered; an electrolyte 14; and a second conductive layer 17 as an electrode at the other side. Many grooves 19 are formed on almost whole face of the porous semiconductor so as to extend from surface to middle part thereof. The stress generated between the porous semiconductor layer and the conductive substrate is relaxed, and exfoliation of the porous semiconductor layer can be restrained by the grooves formed in the porous semiconductor layer.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
