IMAGE-BASED HAPTIC EFFECT DESIGNING AND GENERATING METHOD FOR PROVIDING USER-DEFINED HAPTIC EFFECTS USING IMAGE-BASED HAPTIC PRIMITIVES

PURPOSE: An image based haptic designing and generating method is provided to enable a user to directly design various haptic feedbacks according to an image. CONSTITUTION: Haptic primitives are set up. Haptic effect is matched for the haptic primitive(S100). A user selects the haptic primitive through a UI(User Interface)(S200). The user sets up an area where the selected haptic primitive applies(S300). The haptic primitive includes a dot, a line, and a surface primitive.
