PURPOSE: A virtual facility system for steel industry and a driving method thereof are provided to simulate a steel product and a virtual facility by reflecting a material attribute of a steel product by the virtual facility. CONSTITUTION: A simulation server(100) designs a virtual facility for steel industry. The simulation server reflects a steel product which is manufactured by the virtual facility according to a simulation signal. A control system(200) outputs the simulation signal to the simulation server and receives the simulation signal result from the simulation server.
