PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrosilylation method suppressing the formation of an addition isomer and the internal rearrangement of a double bond without damaging the reactivity of the hydrosilylation method even if using an olefin compound having a tertiary amine atom that may become a catalyst poison.

SOLUTION: The hydrosilylation method includes reacting an olefin compound having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond with a compound having a hydrogensilyl group by a catalytic action of platinum and/or a complex compound thereof in the presence of an organic amine salt compound.
