<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a coupler which achieves both reduction in influences imposed by peripheral components and sufficient tolerance against displacement. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a coupler 1 includes a linear coupling element having a first open end and a second open end, a bottom plate, a power feeding element which connects between the coupling element and a power feeding point, and a short-circuit element which connects between the power feeding element and the bottom plate. The power feeding element has a first end connected to an intermediate part between the first open end and the second open end of the coupling element and a second end connected to the power feeding point.
