A BATTERY CHARGING METHOD |

PURPOSE: A battery charging method is provided to minimize time required for charging a rechargeable battery by not requiring an additional process and time corresponding to charging processes for arranging a half-charged state and a fully-charged state. CONSTITUTION: A controller outputs a discharged voltage equation as a function of time using a battery discharge curve(S100). A voltage sensor outputs residual voltage data by detecting current voltage of a battery(S200). A controller determines a voltage level which is less than a fully charged voltage level(S300). The controller calculates required charging time from the discharged voltage equation(S400). A charging unit charges a battery with 0.1V for 10 minutes in which the 0.1V is a voltage difference between current residual voltage and fully charged voltage(S500). A counter counts each battery charging process(S600). The controller determines the number of battery charging processes using the counter(S700). The controller determines malfunction of the battery(S800). |
