Disclosed are a method, device and system for processing public opinion topics. The method comprises: retrieving public opinion topics including public opinion information in network; acquiring characteristic information of the public opinion topics, and detecting whether or not the characteristic information of the public opinion topics meet the alarm conditions; if yes, saving the public opinion topics and the characteristic information thereof. The method could alarm of the public opinion topics, manage and keep tracing the saved public opinion topics, acquire the variation tendency of their forwarding, hits and commentary and so on, analyze and arrange the public opinion topics, and generate a brief report of public opinion.
