PURPOSE: A functional elastic pavement material and a construction method thereof are provided to continuously emit ions and far-infrared radiation which are useful to human bodies. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a functional elastic pavement material is as follows. Soil, dust, moisture, and foreign materials of a base layer are removed. A primer is spread on the base layer so that a primary primer layer(2) is formed. The primer is spread on the primary primer layer while forming irregularities(4,5) on a surface of the primary primer layer so that the primer layer(3) is formed. The irregularities are filled with a mixture in which a natural fiber or a binder of a synthetic resin and an elastic rubber chip are mixed so that an elastic pavement layer(6) is formed. The elastic rubber chip is formed into a chip shape by processing regeneration urethane, waste tire, EPDM, the synthetic rubber, and various elastic materials. Patterns(7) of various shapes are formed on the surface of the elastic pavement layer. Elvan, a ceramic, formalin stone, tourmaline, zeolite stone and fracture glass pieces are mixed with the binder and pigment and the mixture is spread on the surface of the elastic pavement layer so that a coating layer(8) is formed. |
