PURPOSE: An electro gas welding device is provided to improve the impact strength by reducing high-temperature input heat on the back side of a steel sheet through copper shoe cooling. CONSTITUTION: An electro gas welding device comprises a backing copper shoe(10) and a surface copper shoe(20). The backing copper shoe is formed on the back side of a steel sheet(99) to prop up molten metal(98) during welding and cool the molten metal, thereby forming welding beads. The surface copper shoe is attached to the front side of the steel sheet to prop up the molten metal.
