INDUCTION HEAT UNIT, FIXING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in fixing quality due to aging regardless of a long period of use of an induction heat unit employing the configuration in which an excitation coil is stuck to a coil bobbin as the induction heat unit.

SOLUTION: An induction heat unit 170 with a fixing part for heating a conductive fixing belt 154 through electromagnetic induction and thermally fixing a toner image to a recording sheet comprises: a coil bobbin 171 disposed in the axial direction of the fixing belt 154 and in its longitudinal direction; an excitation coil 173 formed by winding a Litz wire 181 and stuck to the holding surface 171a of the coil bobbin 171 with an adhesive 183. The adhesive 183 is elastic, and is partially applied to a predetermined area of the holding surface 171a of the coil bobbin 171.
