<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly improve estimation accuracy in transmission point estimation. <P>SOLUTION: An electric wave estimation method for estimating an electric wave transmission point TP includes: a first processing step G1 of receiving an electric wave from a predetermined reception point RP located in a building H in all directions within a predetermined reception angle range while controlling the directivity of an array antenna 3 by beam forming; and a third processing step G3 and a fourth processing step G4 for extracting all proximate points by setting a position where two virtual rays extracted by a combination for selecting different arbitrary two virtual rays among a plurality of radiated virtual rays most closely approach each other as a proximate point on a path diagram by using the structure of the building H and the material of each structure as parameters for calculating a virtual electric wave propagation path in the path diagram where light is virtually radiated as virtual ray to each of a plurality of main arrival angles included in all the received directions from a reception point RP by a ray tracing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
