LOWER TIE PLATE OF A FUEL ASSEMBLY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower tie plate in which pressure loss due to a foreign matter filter is effectively decreased while maintaining necessary mechanical strength in a lower tie plate of a fuel assembly in which the foreign matter filter is provided.

SOLUTION: A plurality of boss sections 13 for fuel rods arranged in a square lattice state and boss sections 14 for water rods arranged in a center are connected by webs 15 to constitute the lower tie plate 11 of the fuel assembly 1. Each of the bosses 13 for fuel rods except the bosses 13 for fuel rods at the outer most peripheral part is connected by two webs.
