The invention provides an air filtering apparatus that can suppress deposition of scale by suppressing increase of hardness of electrolytic water. The air filtering apparatus comprises: an electrolytic bath for electrolyzing water to generate electrolytic water containing active oxygen species; a gas-liquid contact member for bringing air into contact with electrolytic water; a circulating pump for supplying electrolytic water generated in the electrolytic bath into the gas-liquid contact member, and circulating and supplying electrolytic water passing through the gas-liquid contact member to the gas-liquid contact member again; and a water-softening module for executing a processing of reducing the hardness of electrolytic water which is circulated and supplied to the gas-liquid contact member. |
