The lever (10) has a rod (12) defining a plane in which the lever is provided and made of single-crystal material or silicon-based material. The rod is provided with a fork (14) at its free end to cooperate with a balance (17). The rod is extended on a side opposite to the fork through arms (20). Each arm includes a stop pallet (26) distinct from a rest and pulse pallet (22), and is arranged in projection with respect to the arm in the plane. The stop pallet includes a convex portion at its ends, where the convex portion defines a contact point with an escapement wheel (24). An independent claim is also included for an escapement comprising an escapement wheel and a lever.
