PURPOSE: A ring shearing testing device is provided to measure the shearing strength of soil in a process of generating a landslide by freely setting various conditions such as saturation/unsaturation, drainage/undrainage, and consolidation condition. CONSTITUTION: A ring shearing testing device comprises an upper ring(20), a lower ring(30), a loading device, a water supply/drainage device, a rotating device, and a shearing strength measuring sensor(60). The upper ring forms a first housing of a ring shape where a soil sample can be housed. The lower ring forming a second housing is closely adhered to the lower part of the upper ring, thereby being installed to be rotated with respect to the upper ring. The loading device applies loads to the soil sample housed in the first and second housings. The rotating device rotates the lower ring with respect to the upper ring. The water supply/drainage device supplies water to the soil sample housed in the first and second housings and selectively drains water in the first and second housings. The shearing strength measuring sensor is joined to the upper ring, thereby measuring the shearing strength of the soil sample. |
