A steam generator welding structure of a washing machine is provided to prevent burrs from being generated in welding an upper case with a lower case of the steam generator. In a washing machine, a steam generator(50) comprises: an upper case(51) formed with a water supply port at one side, a steam exhaust port at the other side, a welding groove(511) for receiving a welding protrusion(521) around the rim surface, and a welding surface(512) combined in the welding groove correspondingly to the welding protrusion; a lower case(52) formed with a predetermined space together with the upper case, correspondingly to the welding groove of the upper case along the periphery of the rim surface contacted on the upper case, and the welding protrusion to the narrower sectional width than the welding groove before welding; and a heater(55) for heating water received in the lower case. |
