An improved, removable and adjustable arch wire is presented, in particular a transpalatal arch wire (TPA) and lower lingual arch wire (LLA). The transpalatal arch wire (TPA) and the lower lingual arch wire (LLA) comprises of a heavy orthodontic wire, which can be attached to molar tubes. The wire has an extended loop immediately adjacent to the molar tubes. The presence of these loops facilitates better fixation of the TPA and LLA.
