<p>High-performance active mass (11) comprises a first fuel, at least one second fuel, an oxidizing agent and a binder, where the first fuel and the oxidizing agent with respect to their redox potentials are selected such that the oxidizing agent is capable of oxidizing the first fuel after ignition in an exothermic reaction with formation of a primary flame (12) and emission of infrared radiation, where the second fuel ignited in the reaction is heated and/or pyrolyzed and is released from the high-performance active mass. High-performance active mass (11) comprises a first fuel, at least one second fuel, an oxidizing agent and a binder, where the first fuel and the oxidizing agent with respect to their redox potentials are selected such that the oxidizing agent is capable of oxidizing the first fuel after ignition in an exothermic reaction with formation of a primary flame (12) and emission of infrared radiation, where the second fuel ignited in the reaction is heated and/or pyrolyzed and is released from the high-performance active mass, where the second fuel is selected such that its redox potential or the redox potential of at least one pyrolysis product of the second fuel is higher than the redox potential of the first fuel, and the heated or ignited second fuel or the pyrolysis product is burned in air, where the amount of the oxidizing agent contained in the high-performance active mass is at most as large that it is just sufficient to oxidize the first fuel completely.</p> |
