<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil configured to store at least a mechanical pencil writing body in a shaft cylinder thereof, where a mechanical pencil lead can be easily refilled without disassembling the writing utensil, and also, the sudden popping out and powder leakage of the lead stored in the lead case pipe can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The writing utensil 1 is configured to store at least the mechanical pencil writing body 11 in the shaft cylinders 2, 3 and protrude the lead end of the pencil writing body from the shaft tip by a feeding operation by means of a knock rod 7 connected to the trailing end of the pencil writing body. The knock rod includes: a rod body 7a connected to the trailing end of the lead case pipe 11a for storing the pencil lead 30 in the mechanical pencil writing body, and having a lead refill path 20 communicating with the lead case pipe, and to which the pencil lead can be inserted from the trailing end thereof; and a lid member 23 turnably provided on the side face of the rod body, configured to open the lead refill path in one state in which the lid member is locked in the rod body, and close the lead refill path in another state in which the lid member is locked in the rod body after changing from the one state by turning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
