<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module which, although its surface protective layer is made of resin for reduction in weight, exhibits high rigidity and therefore causes no warps in a manufacturing process and, even after a long period of use, is free of disconnections in its lead wires connecting power generation elements together. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell module 1 includes a transparent resin sealing layer 10 in which a plurality of power generation elements 12 are arranged horizontally, a transparent resin surface protective layer 20 disposed on the sealing layer 10, and a back sheet 30 disposed below the sealing layer 10, the sheet 30 being composed of a high rigidity, low linear expansion coefficient raw material and having a flat plate-like frame body 16 interposed between the surface protective layer 20 and the power generation elements 12, which is made of high rigidity, low linear expansion coefficient raw material and has openings 18 corresponding to the power generation element 12. The sheet 30 and the frame body 16 heightens the rigidity of the module 1, helping to restrain warps in the module 1 from occurring during a manufacturing process. The frame body 16 stuck close to the sealing layer 10 restricts expansion/contraction of the module 1 (relative expansion/contraction between the surface protective layer 20 and the sheet 30) due to temperature changes at night and day, whereby thermal stresses acting upon the sealing layer 10 are reduced and, hence, the connection parts between the lead wires 14 and the power generation elements 12 do not break. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
