The knife box (1) has a chassis vertically mounted to slide on a fixed frame. Rectilinear arms (7a, 7b) are mounted to articulate on the chassis at an end, and knives (3a, 3b) are mounted at another end of the arms. Eccentric unit i.e. crankshaft (V) imparts antagonist back and forth movements to the arms, and a gear motor assembly drives the eccentric unit in rotation. The arms are planar and located in extension of respective knives. The gear motor assembly is placed outside volume defined by the arms and knives. |
