PURPOSE: A producing method of quicklime and hydrated lime for the desulfurization using residual waste of ground limestone for the paper manufacturing is provided to obtain the high purity quicklime and the hydrated lime with the high specific surface area. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of quicklime comprises the following steps: providing slurry of a limestone residue separated from a manufacturing process of heavy calcium carbonate for the paper manufacturing; dehydrating the slurry; and plasticizing the dehydrated slurry in 900~1,1500 deg C. A producing method of hydrated lime comprises the followings steps: hydrating the plasticized slurry from the quicklime producing process; and drying the hydrated product in 300~500 deg C.
