PURPOSE: A console box for an automobile is provided to ensure firm installation by being fitted to a pocket-console of a floor panel from the bottom thereof and bolted with a plurality of screws and mounting-nut units. CONSTITUTION: A console box for an automobile comprises a box body(110), a cover(120), mounting-nut units(140), and screws(150). The top of the box body is opened, and a receiving-coupling portion(111) on the bottom of the box body is inserted to a pocket-console(30) and coupled to the inner wall of the pocket-console. The cover opens and closes the open top of the box body. The mounting-nut units are fitted downward from the top of a first mounting hole(32) bored on the bottom(31) of the pock-console. The screws penetrates from the top to the bottom of a second mounting hole(113) bored on the bottom(112) of the receiving-coupling portion of the box body, corresponding to the first mounting hole. The bottoms of the screws are coupled to the mounting-nut units.
