combined method for diagnosis of failure of shank vein perforants in varicose veins

摘要

A combined method for diagnosis of failure of shank vein perforants in varicose veins, which comprises a duplex Doppler study of shank vein perforants. Additionally a tourniquet is imposed on shank and indicators of varicose veins hemodynamic are determined at duplex doppler examination, and at increase in internal diameter of vein perforants and the presence of retrograde circulation the failure of vein perforants is diagnosed.
