<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device with long life, high contrast, high color purity, and low power consumption, and to provide a method for manufacturing an organic EL display device with high productivity using a large substrate and fewer components. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL display device 100 is a bottom emission type. The device includes: transparent pixel electrodes 111 corresponding to red color, green color, and blue color, which are isolated with at least bank parts 112 as partition walls on a transparent substrate 2; hole injection layers 110a formed on the transparent pixel electrodes 111; organic light-emitting layers 110c of red color, green color, and blue color, which are separately colored with ink jet formed on the hole injection layers 110a; and a counter electrode 12 covering these organic light-emitting layers 110c. The hole injection layer 110a includes a colored component for selectively transmitting the light with the same color as the color of light emitted from the organic light-emitting layer 110c, and the thickness of the hole injection layer 110a is preferably 0.3 μm or more and 2 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
