<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device with a motor generator (M/G) of a smaller capacity by enabling drive by fully utilizing two M/Gs when traveling as an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Two planetary gear sets 20 and 30 composed of three rotation elements are provided. The respective rotation elements are connected or can be connected individually or to one another to constitute four members. When the four members are aligned on an horizontal axis of a common velocity diagram in an order from one end to the other, a first member is connected to a first M/G 42, a second member is connected to an output axis 12, a second carrier 38 at one side which can be connected together and constitutes a third member is fixed to a static section 46, a first ring gear 24 at the other side is connected to an engine 1, and a fourth member is connected to a second M/G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
