PURPOSE: A connector for connecting a flat cable is provided to prevent an actuator from being separated from an insulator housing even though the actuator is repetitively used. CONSTITUTION: A protrusion portion(131) of an actuator(130) is inserted into a groove of an insulator housing(110). The actuator is mounted on the insulator housing. The actuator rotates on the insulator housing. The actuator pressurizes a contact(120) when the actuator converts an open state into a close state. The actuator fixes a flat cable(1) onto the contact. A separation preventing unit of a housing shell(140) prevents the actuator from being separated from the insulator housing by controlling the protrusion portion.
