<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic input device capable of detecting a direction and a position of a sliding operation with the small number of detection electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic input device which includes an input sensor 50 including a non-conductive base panel 200, a touch electrode 100 for contact detection which is formed on the upper face of the base panel 200 into a long shape in a direction where a slide input operation is performed by a finger of an operator or the like, a touch electrode 100 for contact detection which formed on the lower face of the base panel 200 into a long shape in the direction where the slide input operation is performed by the finger of the operator or the like, and a detection control section 480 including a slide capacity detection section 481, a contact capacity detection section 482, a slide input position determination section 483, a contact determination section 484 and the like includes detecting a direction of the touch operation or the touch position only when a detection object 110 which is the finger of the operator comes into contact with the touch electrode 100 for contact detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
