<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile of a gearing having a characteristic which transmits a constant torque during tooth driving even when a distance between the shafts of two wheels deviates from a theoretical value. <P>SOLUTION: A toothed wheel has a profile in which a functional portion of an edge of each tooth meets two parametric expressions (in Cartesian coordinate system): R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>=d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>cos(α - atan μ) where α and d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>are parameters, μ corresponds to a coefficient of friction at contact between the edge and an edge of a tooth of another wheel and can adopt a numerical value between 0.05 and 0.5, and u is a variable which varies in interval (0, 1/μ) and the profile changes by changing the u. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
