<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-type continuously variable transmission that can be constituted compact in size. <P>SOLUTION: The belt-type continuously variable transmission 40 includes: an output pulley 100 having an output-side fixed sheave 101 fixed to a transmission shaft 90, and an output-side movable sheave 103 which is slidaby supported to the transmission shaft 90 in the axial direction so as not to be rotatable relatively; an output member 110 arranged on an axial line which is coaxial with the transmission shaft 90; a cam mechanism 120 which is interposed between the output-side movable shave 103 and the output member 110, can transmits torque between the output-side movable sheave 103 and the output-side member 110, and imparts a pressing force in the axial direction based on the torque to the output-side movable sheave 103; and an biasing member 130 which energizes the output-side movable sheave 103 to the side of the output-side fixed sheave 101.
