PURPOSE: A connection ring assembly for a rotating electric machine is provided to alleviate the rising of load by offering axial direction and tangential direction rigidity. CONSTITUTION: A clamp element(240) is arranged in around a plurality of connection rings. The clamp element provides axial direction and tangential direction support to the plurality of connection rings. The clamp element is composed of a first clamp element and a second clamp element. A blocking material(220) locates between adjacent connection rings. The blocking material is one among felt, felt-textolite, rubber, elastomer, and cellulosic material. A sacrificial material(230) locates between the plurality of connection rings and the blocking material.
