Disclosed is a composition comprising pilocarpine and methimazole, or pilocarpine and carbimazole or salts thereof. Also disclosed is a combination product comprising a muscarinic receptor agonist selected from the group consisting of pilocarpine, cevimeline, carbachol, methacholine, and bethanechol and an inhibitor of thyroid hormone synthesis selected from the group consisting of methimazole, carbimazole,propylthiouracil and amiodarone, or a salt thereof, for a grouped or separate administration to a subject, simultaneously or sequentially. The use of the compositions for treating Charcot-Marie Tooth disease is also disclosed. |
