PURPOSE: An image creation apparatus and fixing unit control method thereof are provided to block hardware power by sensing fixing temperature through a non-access method in a non-access sensing protection unit. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(250) supplies operating voltages. A non-access sensing unit(210) senses the temperature of a fixing unit(140) in a non-access method. The non-access sensing unit respectively outputs sensor sensing voltages and sensor correction voltages. In case the sensor sensing voltages are higher than the sensor correction voltages, a non-access sensing protection unit(230) blocks voltages supplied by the power supply unit. |
