CAP ASSEMBLY AND SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cap assembly is provided to simplify manufacturing process effectively preventing the leakage of electrolyte accepted in a battery can, thereby reducing manufacturing time and cost. CONSTITUTION: A cap assembly(100) for secondary battery comprises: a top cap(110) forming a positive electrode terminal by being arranged to projected shape in uppermost part; a safety element(120) arranged to be contacted with the top cal in the lower part of the top cap; a safety vent(130) arranged to be contacted to the safety element; and a gasket which surrounds the top cap, the safety device and the safety vent, surrounding the edge of the safety vent, and has adhesive layers in inner circumference and outer circumference.
