<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent elimination of data and protect a device from abnormal temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A power switch 14B turns on/off when power is supplied/stopped. A power supply part 11 supplies power to each part through the power switch 14B. To an operation control part 16, power is supplied from the power supply part 11 regardless of whether the power switch 14B is on or off and the operation control part 16 controls movement of each part based on software. When abnormal temperature is detected by a measurement part 17, the operation control part 16 controls a power control part 18 and stops power supply for a hard disc drive 20 after time required for writing all data stored in cache memory within the hard disc drive 20 has passed after the detection of the abnormal temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
