<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery and an optical array sensor which use an organic photoelectric conversion element having a high fill factor and photoelectric conversion efficiency, which is a reverse-layer type organic photoelectric conversion element having high photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability. <P>SOLUTION: An organic photoelectric conversion element has at least a first electrode, a bulk hetero junction layer made of a p-type organic semiconductor material and an n-type organic semiconductor material, and a second electrode on a substrate.
